Longtime Pipitone Group client, Vitro Architectural Glass, is the largest manufacturer of flat glass in the Western Hemisphere, driven by a desire to create innovative glass products and raise the industry standard for sustainability.

With fully integrated strategic campaigns that encompass both traditional and digital advertising, Pipitone Group works with Vitro to generate awareness and encourage specification of its products among its key audiences: architects and interior designers.

Launching Groundbreaking Products

In a recent relaunch of Starphire Ultra-Clear® glass for interior applications, Pipitone Group developed an integrated marketing campaign, including a new website; press releases, nurturing emails for architects, interior designers and fabricators, collateral for sample kits and fabricator partners; and print and digital ads to increase awareness of Starphire® glass and, ultimately, encourage specifications for interior projects.

Establishing Industry Leadership

As the most specified brand in the commercial glass industry, Vitro holds a strong leadership position. To maintain that standing, Pipitone Group supports Vitro in its communications with architects, interior designers and fabricators by delivering compelling, relevant content through bi-weekly Glass Insider emails and quarterly Vitro Certified™ Network e-newsletters.

Leading Industry Education

Vitro Glass is a thought leader in the glass industry thanks in part to its Glass Education Center, an online hub of more than 60 educational articles, videos and infographics developed to help everyone from students to specialists in the glass trade better understand how to design and work with glass.

Extending Public Relations

When Pipitone Group acquired public relations agency PUSH7 in 2020, all of Vitro’s public relations and marketing activities came together under one roof. Now, Vitro benefits from fully integrated, strategic public relations campaigns that encompass media relations, social media management, internal communications, community relations and more. Last year, the Pipitone team distributed 43 press releases and achieved 349 earned placements for a total of 76,058,482 print and digital impressions and $331,905 in AVE.

Consistent Results

A recent third-party study revealed that in just five years since its acquisition of the well-known PPG Glass brand, Vitro Architectural Glass has experienced an increase in brand awareness among architects and is the preferred brand by architects across the glass industry. Vitro attributes the increase in large part to its extensive integrated marketing and advertising efforts.

Recent award wins include two Architectural Record “Best Architectural Products of 2021” awards, a 2021 “Best of Products” award from The Architect’s Newspaper and a Top Project of the Year Award in the elite Environment + Energy Leader Awards program.

Pipitone Group has also been recognized for its work on behalf of Vitro, earning several 2021 Architectural Record “Advertising Excellence Awards” honors for our Solarban® Acuity™ glass ads across print, digital, and social media.
