With more than 25 years of award-winning design, strategy and project management experience, Scott’s eye for the smart implementation of strategic creative has helped grow Pipitone from a one-person shop in the attic of his home to a 40+ person firm with 12,000 square feet of office space. He is a recurring contributor to ARCHITECT magazine’s ARCHITECT Live education series at the AIA Conference on Architecture, offering insights on marketing automation and continuing education. Among the clients with whom Scott has worked are several of our larger integrated accounts and building product manufacturers: Bobrick Washroom Equipment, Koala Kare Products, Somfy, Westlake Chemical (formerly Axiall Corporation) and Presbyterian SeniorCare Network.
Principal, Chief Creative Officer
Jeff’s brand experience spans research, naming and corporate identity development for some of the world’s largest publicly traded corporations and several prominent building product manufacturers. His portfolio of work includes Alcoa, CENTRIA, Birdair, Cambridge Architectural, Metl-Span, Vitro Architectural Glass and PPG Industries. Prior to joining Pipitone, Jeff was president and creative director at Barton Denmarsh & Esteban (BD&E). His energetic approach to fostering client relationships and employee creativity is instrumental in turning out exceptional, innovative creative products that capture the attention and imagination of the architectural audience. His work has been published in Communication Arts, Graphic Design and Print magazines and has received gold awards in the ARC Awards (NYC), as well as numerous ADDY and professional organization honors.
Principal, Chief Strategy Officer
Arnie is Pipitone’s chief strategist and the primary facilitator of the IntelliStep™ Planning Process. His keen discernment for detail and processes stems from his 30+ year career in marketing communications. His 20+ years’ experience working with building product manufacturers has provided him with a deep interest in companies’ sales processes, distribution channels and how they can optimize strategic marketing communications. Arnie has served numerous integrated clients, including CENTRIA, Sloan, Vitro Architectural Glass, Construction Specialties and PPG Industries. Prior to joining Pipitone, Arnie served as vice president of strategy at Brunner, which in 1990 acquired his database marketing and research company, High Technology Associates. He is the past board chair for the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and currently works with the Pittsburgh Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Principal
Ron brings to Pipitone Group the perfect combination of attributes that made him a stellar sales manager at the region's premier printer of annual reports, Herbick & Held, back in the day: a get-it-done work ethic, an unruffled exterior and the charm to make clients and staff eager to work with him. He has more than 39 years of experience in developing a wide range of visual communication projects and websites for a variety of corporations as a managing partner at Vance Wright Adams. Ron's clients include industrial, financial services, consumer products and technology companies, colleges and universities, and businesses of every size. He is a graduate of Penn State with a bachelor's degree in marketing.
Director, Digital
Leah and her team ensure that websites and advertising messages reach the right stakeholders across the design-build value chain. Her team provides clients with regular analytics reports to help make data-driven decisions. Her expertise spans digital marketing strategies, from Google AdWords to search engine optimization (SEO), and specializing in the implementation of marketing automation programs—a process that involves identifying potential customers by creating personas, such as Architect, Facility Manager and Distributor. Using platforms like HubSpot and Marketo, the Digital team builds email nurturing and lead generation programs that deliver the right content at the right time—and integrate with sales processes. Leah has 13+ years’ experience in project management, the last seven of which were focused on optimizing and building websites.
Vice President of Client Marketing
Scott's got quite a pedigree. He began his career heading up business development for a small design firm, and helped it grow to one of the largest marketing and interactive agencies in the region. As Vice President of Client Services, Scott's relationships with clients and his ability to think and act strategically lead to solutions for even the most complex business challenges of clients. But we aren't the only people who see him as a leader: Scott is a former president of The International Association of Business Communicators in Pittsburgh, a former CEO of The Pittsburgh Business Development Alliance, and a former President of The American Institute of Graphic Design of Pittsburgh.
Chief Financial Officer
Marc Newman's experience is vast and varied. He was the CEO of a wholesale dessert manufacturer, the director of annual giving at the University of Rochester, an underwriting analyst at JP Morgan Chase and is a senior advisor at The Tobin Group. And while he's a jack of all trades, he's the master of Finance. As Pipitone Group's CFO, Marc ensures the financial health of the firm, allowing us to focus on being InteGREATly creative in addressing clients' challenges. Without Marc, things at Pipitone Group just wouldn't add up.
Manager of Administration
With a passion for payroll and enthusiasm for HR, Francine runs the gamut of office administration at Pipitone Group. Beginning her PG career in 2002, she has expanded her role from Bookkeeper to Office Manager, and is currently Manager of Administration. Organized and engaged, she handles everything from coordinating with vendors to planning employee activities, including PG’s annual Halloween Party, which is near and dear to her heart.
Director, Integrated Content
Kim leads Pipitone’s Integrated Content team. As a strategic thought leader and catalyst of subject matter expertise, she acts as the liaison between clients and the agency’s architectural building products team while ensuring successful content marketing strategies and continuing education. Her 12+ years of leadership for major clients in the category has given Kim a thorough understanding of their business goals, including leveraging the AIA’s “Architect’s Basic Services” to help clients optimize content to reflect the architect’s “journey” to specification. She has managed numerous integrated accounts including CENTRIA, Bobrick Washroom Equipment, Koala Kare Products, Vitro Architectural Glass, PPG Industries, Metl-Span, Construction Specialties and Birdair. Prior to joining Pipitone, Kim was Director of Corporate Communications at Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh.
Creative Services Manager
Vince is a master of the Adobe Creative Suite. But in addition to his knack for graphic design, he spent the better part of his early career specializing in print production. As a truly diverse print and digital production artist with more than 20 years of experience, Vince leads Pipitone Group’s team of creatives, constantly striving to improve processes, culture and workflow to deliver great work to our clients.
Vice President | Strategic Account Planner
A message is only as effective as the planning behind it, and that's Nancy's forte at Pipitone Group. As VP/Strategic Account Planner, Nancy is our liaison to the customer, uncovering the insights, needs and details that lead to meaningful, game-changing brand ideas, effective strategies and compelling creative. Prior to joining Pipitone Group, that's exactly what she did for global brands like Heinz, DuPont, USG, Susan Komen Foundation, Hoover, Dirt Devil and Bank of America. For Gerber, she was part of the team that drove market share to an all-time high of 83%. For BEHR, her consumer insights led to a paint and primer campaign that created a new category of paint and earned the Home Depot Vendor of the Year award.
Chief Barketing Officer
Silly is one creative canine (she does her best work outside). Whether it’s sitting in on meetings or strategically cozying up to our desks for a tasty treat, Silly takes her duties as PG’s Chief Barketing Officer quite seriously. Just don’t ask her how that presentation is coming along during one of her IntelliNap Sessions.
