NEWS: Pipitone Group Manager of Account Services Honored at 2009 BizMark Awards

Achievement marks the first time that a recipient is awarded in two separate categories

Pittsburgh, May 28, 2009— Kim Tarquinio, manager of account services at Pipitone Group, was awarded both the e-Marketer of the Year and the Advertising Agency Employee of the Year by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA) at its recent 2009 BizMark Awards for Excellence. This marks the first time that one person was honored with two awards in the same year.

“As a valued member of our management team and leader of our account services department, Kim has excelled at learning our clients’ businesses, providing them strategic solutions and mentoring account services staff to do the same,” said Scott Pipitone, president and CEO of Pipitone Group. “These awards validate the great thinking and diligence Kim brings to our company and our clients every day.”

With nearly 20 years of experience, Tarquinio is responsible for the strategic management of Pipitone Group’s key accounts and account teams to ensure that client objectives are not only met, but exceeded. She has a bachelor of arts degree in English Literature from Wheaton College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected Phi Beta Kappa.

This year marks the second year for the BizMark awards which honor excellence in business-to-business marketing. The mission of the Pittsburgh chapter of the BMA is to be the best source of information, education and growth for people in business-to-business marketing.
