Pittsburgh, June 2, 2010 — Innovation Works, the most active investor in seed-stage companies in Southwestern PA, recently celebrated ten years of impact in the region. The annual meeting, which celebrated and recognized the organization's critical impacts during the past 10 years was held on Thursday, April 29th at the McKesson Automation manufacturing facility and welcomed more than 350 guests.
Innovation Works (IW) plays a vital role in Southwestern PA's technology economy by investing capital, business expertise and other resources in high-potential companies with the greatest likelihood for regional economic impact. During the past decade, IW has helped to launch hundreds of start-up companies including Aethon, ShowClix and Modcloth.
In a collaborative effort, Pipitone Group provided its expertise through design and implementation of IW’s annual report, event invitation, PowerPoint presentation, event signage and video showcasing of their partners. Playing off of the organization's 10 year anniversary, PG and IW highlighted 10 meaningful impacts that the organization has had on making Pittsburgh a technology leader.
