Our History: From Humble Beginnings to Heavy Hitter

Some attics store old clothes and holiday decorations. Scott Pipitone's attic held a vision.

Scott set up his business in the attic of his home in 1992. The fledgling business was built on the same core set of values we work by today: face-to-face contact and strategic collaboration with our clients from the beginning of a job to final production.

This client-focused, results-oriented philosophy remains integral to the work we do today because it's an approach that consistently leads to solutions that exceed client expectations. We know this because our first clients brought new referrals to the door, and then those referrals made referrals until work and employees literally overflowed the attic.

Today, the Pipitone Group fills three floors of a creatively rehabbed row house at 3933 Perrysville Avenue in Observatory Hill on Pittsburgh's North Side. Our growth has gotten us noticed. The Pipitone Group was named to Inc. 500's “Inner City 100” list of America's fastest growing private companies three years in a row.

The teamwork that brought us here represents our evolution to a full-service channel marketing firm with integrated disciplines of strategic planning, creative, marketing technologies and public relations.
