Scott is, however, highly regarded both locally and nationally for his creative ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit. His eye for the smart implementation of creative design in collaboration with other marketing and communications strategies has helped Pipitone Group grow from a one-person shop located in the attic of his home to the worldwide corporate headquarters where 40+ people do great work every day. Principal and Chief Creative Officer

From brand building to business building, Jeff's built a portfolio of work for some of the world's largest publicly-traded corporations, including Alcoa, BNY Mellon, EQT, Federated Investors, H.J. Heinz, PNC and PPG Industries. Prior to joining Pipitone Group, Jeff was president and creative director at Barton Denmarsh & Esteban (BD&E), where for more than 30 years he helped grow the firm throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. His talents applied to projects and accounts as diverse as literature systems for PNC Investments to designing an on-field promotion at Heinz Field featuring two 35-foot animated ketchup bottles. The energetic process he employs in fostering client relationships and fueling employee creativity is instrumental in turning out exceptional, innovative—heck, just plain great—work. To get a quick glance at Jeff's brand influence, just look at the lighted signs in the Pittsburgh skyline.

Principal, Strategic Integration

Don't let him fool you. While Arnie's process might appear based on having “good conversations” and “thinking out loud,” his true prowess—his “Arnacity,” as it’s been called—is making sure client strategies are on target and getting things done effectively and efficiently for Pipitone Group's client base. Arnie's keen discernment for detail and processes stems from his 30-year career in the industry, including a vice president of marketing technology position at Blattner Brunner, which in 1990 acquired his database marketing and research company, High Technology Associates, one of the first of its kind at the time.

Gary's calm under pressure and strategic thinking are key to his business practice as a principal at Pipitone Group. Although remaining as a stakeholder on his accounts, Gary has transitioned from daily account services to growing the business both for our clients and for Pipitone Group, as part of our new business development team. As president and a founding partner of Vance Wright Adams, Gary brings more than 40 years of visual communications experience to his new role. A graduate of the Ivy School of Professional Art, his work has been featured in many industry publications and received numerous awards. Through his work with Fortune 500 companies, sports franchises, global PR and entertainment firms, tech companies and regional and national mid-size businesses, we think Gary will prove to be our ace with prospective clients.

Ron brings to Pipitone Group the perfect combination of attributes that made him a stellar sales manager at the region's premier printer of annual reports, Herbick & Held, back in the day: a get-it-done work ethic, an unruffled exterior and the charm to make clients and staff eager to work with him. He has more than 39 years of experience in developing a wide range of visual communication projects and websites for a variety of corporations as a managing partner at Vance Wright Adams. Ron's clients include industrial, financial services, consumer products and technology companies, colleges and universities, and businesses of every size. He is a graduate of Penn State with a bachelor's degree in marketing.

Augie is responsible for leading the architecture, development and delivery of customized client solutions by marrying the right technology to the best design and content Pipitone Group has to offer. His 20-plus years of experience allow him to lead a team of developers, digital designers and project managers in all aspects of front-end and back-end technical development to serve Pipitone Group and its customers in the fast-paced interactive arena.

Director of Digital Marketing

As Pipitone Group’s Director of Digital Marketing, Leah knows you can’t find the forest without looking for the trees. Her day-to-day goal is helping clients leave a digital footprint, and she is a master at developing strategic and measurable digital marketing plans and executing them using a wide array of tools and best practices. Leah is passionate about tracking how marketing performs and thinking about how iterative improvements can turn any client’s everyday marketing efforts into amazing lead generation and nurturing tools.

Director of Communications

Scott serves as the agency’s director of communications. Beyond just being the agency’s PR guy, Scott has developed advertising campaigns, media relations programs and marketing communications programs for clients of all sizes in a variety of industries. Prior to joining PG, Scott worked in other agencies in Pittsburgh and Boston. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from West Virginia University.

Vice President of Client Marketing

Scott's got quite a pedigree. He began his career heading up business development for a small design firm, and helped it grow to one of the largest marketing and interactive agencies in the region. As Vice President of Client Services, Scott's relationships with clients and his ability to think and act strategically lead to solutions for even the most complex business challenges of clients. But we aren't the only people who see him as a leader: Scott is a former president of The International Association of Business Communicators in Pittsburgh, a former CEO of The Pittsburgh Business Development Alliance, and a former President of The American Institute of Graphic Design of Pittsburgh.

Chief Financial Officer

Marc Newman's experience is vast and varied. He was the CEO of a wholesale dessert manufacturer, the director of annual giving at the University of Rochester, an underwriting analyst at JP Morgan Chase and is a senior advisor at The Tobin Group. And while he's a jack of all trades, he's the master of Finance. As Pipitone Group's CFO, Marc ensures the financial health of the firm, allowing us to focus on being InteGREATly creative in addressing clients' challenges. Without Marc, things at Pipitone Group just wouldn't add up.

Francine Schmidley

Manager of Administration

With a passion for payroll and enthusiasm for HR, Francine runs the gamut of office administration at Pipitone Group. Beginning her PG career in 2002, she has expanded her role from Bookkeeper to Office Manager, and is currently Manager of Administration. Organized and engaged, she handles everything from coordinating with vendors to planning employee activities, including PG’s annual Halloween Party, which is near and dear to her heart.

Strategic Director, Architectural Building Products

Kim leads Pipitone Group’s architectural building products category. As our industry thought leader, she stays abreast of market trends, provides insight and acts as the liaison between clients and the agency’s architectural building products team. Her 12-plus years of management, marketing and leadership for major clients within the category has given Kim a thorough understanding of clients’ online and offline business goals and she and the team utilize this expertise to develop effective, award-winning marketing strategies.

Vince is a master of the Adobe Creative Suite. But in addition to his knack for graphic design, he spent the better part of his early career specializing in print production. As a truly diverse print and digital production artist with more than 20 years of experience, Vince leads Pipitone Group’s team of creatives, constantly striving to improve processes, culture and workflow to deliver great work to our clients.

Shannon is an award-winning public relations strategist and writer for a wide range of industries and companies including ConAgra Foods, UPMC, GlaxoSmithKline and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. Prior to joining Pipitone Group, Shannon refined her skills as a communicator for major corporate, mid-size and startup/entrepreneurial companies in B2B, B2C and nonprofits at agencies like Ketchum. As Pipitone’s Director of Integrated Content, she is passionate about working with the media to help raise brand awareness for clients and formulating the right combination of words to craft mindful strategies and narratives. Shannon’s attention to detail and extensive experience fostering client relationships guides her in developing successful solutions no matter what the challenge.

Kirk's a builder. Whether it's a bridge that seamlessly and consistently connects clients to consumers at every possible touchpoint, renovations of existing brands to attract new eyes, or flawless foundations for the successful launch of new products, Kirk's career has been all about helping home and building brands enjoy unprecedented success. Want names? OK: Asahi Glass Company, DuPont, USG Corporation, TAMKO Building Products, EFCO Windows, Solutia (formerly Monsanto), Somfy and VT Industries. To name a few. Before joining Pipitone Group as our VP of Building Products, he built the home & building practice of one of the region’s largest agencies into one of its largest and fastest-growing groups. At Pipitone, Kirk adds a new level of expertise to our dynamic Building Products team, and is responsible for planning and leading our clients' strategic growth through integrated campaigns and individual projects.

Vice President | Strategic Account Planner

A message is only as effective as the planning behind it, and that's Nancy's forte at Pipitone Group. As VP/Strategic Account Planner, Nancy is our liaison to the customer, uncovering the insights, needs and details that lead to meaningful, game-changing brand ideas, effective strategies and compelling creative. Prior to joining Pipitone Group, that's exactly what she did for global brands like Heinz, DuPont, USG, Susan Komen Foundation, Hoover, Dirt Devil and Bank of America. For Gerber, she was part of the team that drove market share to an all-time high of 83%. For BEHR, her consumer insights led to a paint and primer campaign that created a new category of paint and earned the Home Depot Vendor of the Year award.

Chief Barketing Officer

Silly is one creative canine (she does her best work outside). Whether it’s sitting in on meetings or strategically cozying up to our desks for a tasty treat, Silly takes her duties as PG’s Chief Barketing Officer quite seriously. Just don’t ask her how that presentation is coming along during one of her IntelliNap Sessions.
